Biological Laboratory Safety Training Course

Under the guidance and supervision of the Dean of the College, the training course "Biosafety and Risk Management in Biological Laboratories" was launched on Sunday, April 27, 2025. The course was attended by Asst. Dr. Muthanna Khamis Hamid, a lecturer in the Department of Medical Physics. The course aimed to enable staff working in the college's teaching laboratories to understand and comprehend biosafety, the most important biosafety procedures, and how to manage biorisks in laboratories, thus enhancing the concept of biosafety and biosecurity. The course included a detailed explanation of basic precautions when handling biological materials, how to manage risks in biological laboratories, and the most important methods and techniques used in disposing of various types of biological waste.
