Unit's Tasks :

1. Semi-annual and annual statistics (educational, cultural, scientific, and educational status - published or accepted research - books authored, prepared, and translated) according to a database prepared for this purpose.

2. Disseminate the regulations and directives issued by the Academic Affairs Department of the University Presidency to all college departments.

3. Promote the appreciation and thanks granted by the University Presidency to researchers and professors who publish their research in prestigious international journals within approved international references.

4. Promote patent applications to recognize efforts.

5. Valuate the efforts of resident professors for research published in prestigious international journals.

6. Provide academic sabbaticals for professors and researchers within the framework of a cooperation program with state institutions both inside and outside Iraq. Ensure accreditation for publication in international journals within approved references for publication and promotion purposes, and coordinate with the Academic Promotion Unit and electronic archiving of databases and circulars.
