Activating the Memorandum of Understanding with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
In a remarkable step, and under the direction of the President of the University of Anbar, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, the team visiting Malaysia met on Thursday, May 29, 2025, with the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences-Hit and the Assistant Dean of the College of Science, representing the Dean of the College, with a group of the best professors and researchers worldwide in the fields of earth sciences, physics, life sciences, molecular biology, chemistry, biotechnology, and environmental sciences at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. This comes as part of the university's plan to activate the memoranda of understanding. The meeting reviewed the existing equipment and agreed to jointly supervise master's and doctoral students, accept PhD holders into the post-doctoral program, and to jointly publish between them and University of Anbar researchers in the aforementioned specializations. It also includes providing online exchange lessons for master's and doctoral students within the visiting professor program. Bachelor's students from any college at the University of Anbar, such as the College of Education for Pure Sciences and the College of Education for Girls, will be granted seats with the College of Applied Sciences-Hit and the College of Science. Master's degrees are available at any time, and applications are submitted within the deadline for each academic year. It has also been agreed that some professors will be editors of classified academic journals at both universities.
