Workshop on "Occupational Safety and Health" at the College of Applied Sciences – Hit

 

As part of the approved academic activities for the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences – Hit, a workshop titled "Occupational Safety and Health" was held on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Intisar Nadhim Shallal, a lecturer in the Department of Environment, with the attendance of a group of faculty members and staff. The session addressed fundamental principles of workplace safety, methods of preventing occupational hazards, and the importance of promoting a culture of health awareness within academic institutions.

This activity is part of the college’s continuous efforts to enhance a safe working environment and to raise the competencies of its staff in occupational safety and health practices.
