Laboratory Safety Workshop

Under the direction and supervision of the Dean of the College, and as part of the scientific activities for the second semester of the current academic year, which fall within the program accreditation standards for educational laboratories, the Department of Applied Chemistry held a workshop on laboratory safety on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The workshop was presented by faculty members from the Department of Applied Chemistry (Assistant Professor Mai Fahmy Abdulrahman), (Assistant Professor Hanan Latief Yassien), and (Assistant Professor Muslima Mahmoud Ismail), and attended by a number of students from the Department of Applied Chemistry. The workshop addressed occupational safety procedures to be followed in chemistry laboratories, as well as informational signs to highlight potential hazards in laboratories.
