Winning Second Place at the Creative Graduation Research Forum
As part of their participation in the 13th Creative Graduation Research Forum for the academic year 2024-2025, organized by the University Presidency, students Dua'a Emad Jassim, Fatima Fadhil Awad, and Hajar Abdulwahid Musa, from the Department of Applied Chemistry, fourth year, morning studies, won second place out of twenty-one scientific and humanities research papers. Their graduation research, titled "Utilizing Plant Waste by Producing Industrially Important Enzymes from Beneficial Bacteria" was supervised by Prof. Bilal Jasser Mohammed and Asst. Ammar Abdulrazzaq Tawfiq. The University President honored the research supervisors and the students with shields and certificates of appreciation for their second-place achievement in their graduation research, which was highly acclaimed by the judging committee. The research has been nominated for participation in the Creative Graduation Research Forum, which will be held by the Association of Arab Universities at a later date at the University of Nizwa in the Sultanate of Oman. The College Deanship congratulates the participating students on this academic achievement, which adds to the achievements of our college and the Department of Applied Chemistry. We pray to God Almighty to protect them and grant them success and the highest ranks.
