Departments of the College of Applied Sciences – Hit Advance in the National Ranking of Scientific Departments in Iraq
In a remarkable scientific achievement for the University of Anbar, and under the patronage of the President of the University of Anbar, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Neda, and the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences – Hit, Assistant Professor Dr. Rasim Faraj Muslim, the departments of the College of Applied Sciences – Hit have achieved significant progress in the national ranking of scientific departments, surpassing their counterparts in other Iraqi universities .
This progress is the result of continuous scientific and academic efforts exerted by the university administration, the college deanship, department heads, faculty members, and staff, reflecting the college's commitment to enhancing the educational and research process and strengthening its position in national rankings .
The following are the results of the national ranking of the departments of the College of Applied Sciences – Hit :
- Department of Medical Physics :
First place among its counterparts in the Colleges of Applied Sciences in Iraq, and fifth place among the Colleges of Science in Iraqi universities, ahead of the physics departments in other colleges at the University of Anbar .
- Department of Applied Chemistry :
Second place among applied science colleges in Iraqi universities, and tenth place among science colleges in Iraqi universities .
- Department of Environmental Science :
First place among applied science colleges in Iraqi universities, and fourth place among science colleges in Iraqi universities .
In conclusion, the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences – Hit extends his thanks and appreciation to all its members, praying to God Almighty for continued success and that the college and all its departments will be at the forefront of future national and international rankings .
