A field visit by professors from the College of Applied Sciences – Hit, as part of the Iraqi Anti-Drug Week activities
In line with the activities of the Iraqi Anti-Drug Week and the College of Applied Sciences – Hit's efforts to raise community awareness, and as part of its service to the local community of Hit , A team of faculty members organized a field visit to Hit Preparatory School for Boys on Thursday, November 20, 2025.
The team included :

The delegation was received by the school administration, where the professors delivered an awareness lecture addressing the dangers of drugs to youth, the modern methods used to target this group, and a compelling explanation of the health, social, and behavioral effects of this scourge on individuals and society. The students actively engaged with the lecture topic, asking a number of questions that reflected their awareness and desire to understand appropriate preventative measures to protect themselves and their peers .
This visit comes as part of a series of activities undertaken by the College of Applied Sciences - Hit to promote community partnership and spread a culture of awareness and prevention of drugs in educational institutions within the district .
