Among his distinguished scientific achievements, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Qasim Taha, Dean's Assistant for Scientific Affairs at the College of Applied Sciences – Hit/University of Anbar, published a rigorous research paper in a prestigious international journal indexed in Scopus and ranked in the first quartile (Q1), as well as indexed in Web of Science . The research addressed the development of an advanced predictive framework based on artificial intelligence (XGBoost) techniques to assess the impact of fast charging of electric vehicles on electrical distribution networks. This assessment is conducted using power quality indicators, contributing to improved planning and operational processes, reducing voltage deviations and harmonic distortions, and supporting the future readiness of electrical networks .
