A faculty member from the College of Applied Sciences – Hit participates in a specialized training course in the field of environment and climate change

 

Dr. Atyaf Abdul Qahhar Younis, a faculty member at the College of Applied Sciences – Hit, and a nominee from Anbar University, participated in a training course entitled "Training of Trainers (TOT) in the Field of Environment and Adaptation to Climate Change." The course was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Environment, the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), and the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), and was held at Al-Nahrain University from December 7-10, 2025. The course aimed to develop the participants' capabilities and build specialized training cadres in the fields of environmental protection and adaptation to climate change, thereby contributing to supporting national efforts to achieve sustainable development and enhancing environmental awareness in academic institutions.
