The University of Anbar Presidency Affirms its Solidarity with its Staff Regarding University Service Allowances

The University of Anbar Presidency affirmed its full solidarity with its staff and the employees of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in general, regarding their financial entitlements related to university service allowances, in all their technical and administrative aspects, as an acquired right guaranteed under the provisions of the University Service Law No. (23) of 2008 .

The University President, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Neda, stated that these allowances "may not be touched, canceled, or amended except by a similar legal enactment issued by the competent legislative body in the Iraqi Parliament, and in accordance with the approved constitutional and legal frameworks."

He clarified that the University of Anbar has funded the January 2026 salaries with all their entitlements and allowances, as was the practice previously, and that these have been submitted to the relevant financial authority without any reduction or deduction from employee salaries . He affirmed his complete and unwavering solidarity with the acquired constitutional and legal rights of faculty and staff, noting that the university administration and its council will always stand in support of their legitimate rights .

At the same time, the university president called upon all members of the university community to refrain from being swayed by calls for discord or personal disputes and grudges, and to adhere to legal channels and established procedures in demanding their rights, in accordance with the provisions of the constitution and applicable laws, and in a manner that preserves the prestige and stability of the educational institution .
