College of Applied Sciences – Hit Celebrates World Environment Day

In celebration of World Environment Day, which falls on June 5th each year, the College of Applied Sciences – Hit organized an awareness event to mark this global occasion, the largest international platform for raising environmental awareness and mobilizing international efforts to protect the environment and achieve sustainable development.

The event was held in the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Rasim Faraj Muslim, along with a number of faculty members and staff. Emphasis was placed on the importance of preserving the environment and promoting sustainable practices that contribute to reducing pollution and protecting natural resources for future generations.

This participation aligns with the College's mission to support environmental issues, disseminate scientific knowledge, and raise awareness of the importance of environmental conservation, thus contributing to building a more conscious and responsible society in the face of contemporary environmental challenges.

At the conclusion of the event, attendees stressed the importance of continuing environmental initiatives and activities that enhance community awareness and support efforts aimed at achieving a healthy and sustainable environment.
