The Deanship of the College of Applied Sciences – Hit Holds its Third Session for the 2025-2026 Academic Year

 

The Council of the College of Applied Sciences – Hit held its third session for the 2025-2026 academic year on Sunday, December 28, 2025, chaired by the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Rasim Faraj Muslim.

At the beginning of the session, the Dean conveyed the congratulations of the President of Anbar University, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Neda, to all faculty, staff, and students of the college on the university's significant achievements and successes during the past month. These included Anbar University receiving the "Oscar" award for best management and leadership among Arab universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, as well as achieving second place among Iraqi universities in the Sustainable Development Index.

The University President also directed that the examination schedules be finalized and made available to students, and that examination halls be prepared for the first semester examinations, scheduled to begin on January 4, 2025. The session included presenting the items on the council’s agenda, discussing the minutes of the academic departments, as well as hosting the faculty representative, the head of the registration and student affairs division, the head of the legal division, and the student representative, to discuss a number of academic and administrative issues related to the progress of the educational process.
